The 28th Annual St. Anne's Holiday Bazaar, October 3rd and 4th is dedicated to the memory of Rollie Pinault. In addition to his tireless work and leadership for the Bazaar, Rollie had an inexhaustible commitment to his church and his community. An inspiration to so many of us, he is sorely missed.
Our appreciation and thanks to Mary Dionne for ten years of service as the very competent and tireless chair for promotion and advertising, so vital for the Bazaar success. Mary is stepping down, so this position needs to be filled as quickly as possible. She has turned over wonderful records to make for a seamless transition. So, we are off and running with preparations and planning for the Bazaar, only 190 days away!
* Grandma's Attic needs all the donations you can find! Leave them in the rectory garage. Usable furniture and household items will be particularly important in this year's tough economy. Please! No TVs, monitors, air conditioners or PCs. Also, we are no longer selling clothes.
* The Holiday Crafts crew is already working hard on this year's products, many for the new pet boutique! Join their work sessions 9:00 Tuesday mornings in the parish hall.
* The Grandma's Attic crew meets the same time in the church basement and also welcomes new help preparing incoming products.
The Bazaar needs your help! In addition to the needs addressed above, any parishioner, young or old, willing to help out can sign up on Ministry Weekend, May 30th and 31st.
