On Sunday, July 4th, Boy Scouts from Salem's Troop 83 and Troop 24 participated in the annual celebration at Derby Wharf in Salem. The Scouts helped open the ceremony by processing in with Mayor Kim Driscoll, members of the Salem's Veterans Color Guard Unit and Salem Girl Scouts. The Scouting program works to build character, good citizenship, and personal fitness in young men.

Nick Danjou and Ben Dibble, members of St. Anne's Boy Scout Troop 83, recently attained the rank of Eagle Scout, the highest rank in Boy Scouts. Many family members, friends, and Troop 83 members past and present attended Sunday Mass where the new Eagle Scouts were introduced and recognized for their achievements.

Pack 83 Cub Scouts will hold their annual Pinewood Derby on Saturday, March 6th from 1 - 4 pm in the School Hall.

In recognition of One Hundred Years of Scouting, the Office for the New Evangelization of Youth and Young Adults in partnership with the Catholic Committee on Scouting, is pleased to invite you to a Mass of Thanksgiving celebrated by Cardinal Sean O'Malley on Sunday, February 28th at 2:00 pm.
