Meeting for CCD Parents

All parents of CCD children in grades 4-8 are asked to attend a meeting on Thursday, January 24th at St. James Parish Hall from 6:30-8:00 p.m.

The purpose of the meeting is to explain a new and beautiful program concerning critical issues your children must face. This will be introduced as part of the 7th grade curriculum called "See I Make All Things New." It covers GOd's plan for life, love relationships, sexuality and chastity and is based on Pope John Paul II's Theology of the Body.

This information is intended to be the foundation of the curriculum, so it is important for you to cover this material at home prior to the lessons that will be taught by your child's teacher.

We appreciate your time and dedication to this important stage of development in your child's life. Please know we are looking forward to implementing this new curriculum to share the beauty of God's plan for your child's life.

CCD/Religious Education

We communicate the doctrines of the church to our parish children in a way that is relevant to their lives. We strive to help children establish a personal, loving relationship with Jesus. Sacramental programs are offered for Penance, Eucharist and Confirmation. Catechists volunteer to share their faith and teacher training is provided. Opportunities are also given for intellectual sharing and spiritual growth of adults.
