The Communal Anointing of the Sick Mass will take place Saturday, June 9th at 11:00 am. A light collation will be served following Mass.
The Anointing of the Sick has the power to ease the pain, heal the wounds, and lift the spirits of people in their time of anxiety. The laying on of the hands, anointing with oil, readings and prayers combined with the special graces which He bestows upon us strengthens and comforts us so we may be able to live our lives in faith, hope, and love despite our physical or emotional pain. The Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick is a sign of love given to us in our time of need and helps us to remember that He is with us always. If you, any member of your family, a friend, or a neighbor is suffering from any physical or emotional pain, please join us. RSVP by June 5th to Donna Berube at the rectory (978) 744-1930. |

Concern
Pastoral Visitors bring Communion to parish members who are house-bound. This ministry lets them know that they are still part of the spiritual life of the church. Hospital Visitors visit the hospital during the week assuring patients that they are in our prayers, as well as just "listening" to them. Bereavement offers comfort and condolences to families in the loss of their loved one. We may represent the parish at the wake or funeral Mass and assist in the use of the Family Room after the services at the cemetery. People are helped to feel that through their faith in God and the love of the family and friends they are not forgotten in their time of sorrow.
