The Christmas Eve church front sacristy roof leak has been temporarily repaired, but the whole roof is at the end of its service life and is need of replacement. The initial roofing contractor bids are coming in over $70,000 .
Four roofing contractors have been solicited for bids to replace the roof. All bidders have indicated that the roof needs to be replaced. The roof leak repairs should hold till spring.
The ceiling has been repaired. Each roofing contractor stated that the type of roofing system we have on the church shortens the life of the roofing material. The four contractors will submit their recommendations and the committee will decide what the best course of action will be and prepare a set of specifications for the four contractors to submit a bid on.
