 The very popular series begun last Spring at St. John the Baptist parish is starting up again this Fall. You won't want to miss any of these presentations.
All take place on Sunday evenings from 7-9 pm in the lower church hall: Sunday, October 21st - Sr. Mary Johnson, SND Professor of Sociology and Director of the Center for Mission and Spirituality at Emmanuel College, "Catholic Social Teaching: The Bridge to Young Adults." Sunday, October 28th - Fr. Al Barrera, OP Professor of Economics and Humanities at Providence College, "Economic Justice: Neither a Burden Nor an Imposition But a Welcome Divine Gift." Sunday, November 11th - Fr. Tom Stegman, SJ Assistant Professor of New Testament at Weston School of Theology, "Social Justice in the New Testament with a Special Focus on Luke's Gospel and the Letter of James." |
