 A six-week workshop regarding Pastoral Care to the Sick and Homebound will be offered at St. Julia Parish in Weston from 9:30-11:30 a.m. beginning Thursday, October 11th.
Classes will be held in the Parish Center. The workshop will include communication skills, basics of pastoral visitation, illness issues, spiritual needs and concerns, grief, loss and dying, and care-giving issues. Pastoral visitors, eucharistic ministers, parish nurses and others are encouraged to attend. The fee is $40. Contact the Office of Parish Outreach Ministries, Health Care Ministry by email at
