St. Mary's events  The following are upcoming events taking place at St. Mary Parish, 8 South Common Street, Lynn, MA:

Jewishness of Jesus:  New Directions in Catholic-Jewish dialogue will present a workshop "Jewishness of Jesus" on May 29th from 7-9 pm at St. Mary's High School in the O'Brien Lecture Hall, 35 Tremont Street, Lynn.  This workshop will be taught by Ms. Cecila Sirois, a Roman Catholic educator and Naomi Towvin, a Jewish teacher, and is sponsored by the Archdiocese of Boston and the Anti-Defamation League of New England.  Everyone is invited to this lively and interactive presentation; those who are seeking catechist certification through the Archdiocese are required to attend.  Please call Jaye Russo to register or for more information (781) 599-2275.

 

Let St. Mary's Social Club take you to the river:  Come with the Social Club on May 30th for a fun-filled time at Twin River Casino and Gaming Center at Lincoln Park, RI.  The bus will leave from in front of St. Mary's at 12:30 pm and return to Lynn by 8:30 pm.  Cost is $28 which includes many extras.  Call (781) 598-4907 for more details and to make your reservation.

 

Annual Day of Recollection:  The Spiritual Development Committee will host their annual "Day of Recollection" at the Notre Dame Retreat House in Ipswich on Tuesday, June 5th.  Departure will be at 8:30 am from in front of St. Mary's Church, and we will return by 3:30 pm.  Cost is $25 whic includes morning coffee and muffins and lunch.  Please make reservations by calling (781) 598-4907.  This year's presenter will be St. Mary's new Pastoral Associate, Mrs. Jay Russo.

 

Boston Pops in June:  There is a waiting list for St. Mary's of Lynn's Night at the Pops on June 13th.  Payment of $60 for this event should be received by May 15th.
