The Bazaar Desperately Needs Your Help! Please see below for more information on ways in which you can help to make this our most successful Bazaar yet!
Again this year's Bazaar will have a Grocery Booth sponsored by the men of the Holy Name Society with the assistance of members of the Youth Group of the parish. However, as we did last year, we are asking for the assistance of all the parish members. We need to obtain donations of food and other grocery items from our parish families. Suggested donations include: paper products, breakfast materials, non-perishable goods for lunch and dinner and some personal household items. We need the help of each family within the parish to make this Grocery Booth a success. All donations can be left in the back of the church.
Candy Booth: Candy makers are needed and supplies will be available after all of the Masses on the weekends of September 17th, 18th, and 24th, 25th. Items may be brought to the hall on Thursday night between the hours of 5-8 pm and Friday night between 4-8 pm, or on the day of the Bazaar.
The Silent Auction is also way behind last year for contributions. Lists of contacts to be made are still available. Call (978) 729-3052. Or contact those you did last year.
Grandma's Attic: The signature event of the Bazaar needs more contributions, especially jewelry. Drop off at the rectory garage, or call the rectory to arrange drop-off. Still need help cleaning and pricing on Tuesdays from 8-11 am. Final drop off date for Grandma's Attic is Monday, September 19th.
Snack Bar: Here's yet another way you can help with the Bazaar, even if you can't volunteer time before or during the Bazaar itself. Many of the Bazaar events have high operating costs incurred prior to the weekend. The food and refreshments stand requires that food and supplies be bought and paid for up front. Could you donate cash or perhaps food products (franks, bakery goods, other ingredients) to the operation of this activity? A number of parishioners currently make such donations to cover pre-bazaar expenses incurred in other aeas. Would you join them by "sponsoring" some food costs? If you wish to donate, please let Diane in the rectory know, or drop a clearly marked envelope into the offertory basket during Mass, or just send cash or a check (made out to Ste. Anne's parish) to the rectory, preferably in the next two weeks. Thanks again for your support.
Ste. Anne's Crafters will present a Special Preview Showing and Sale on September 25th and 26th. Look for more information next week!
Baked Goods Booth: It's time once again to pull out your favorite recipes, make a list and shop for your ingredients. Please help us to sell your donations quickly. Bring early - you can bring your baked goods to the hall Friday during the day/evening or Saturday. Our biggest crowds and best selling day is Saturday, so the more we have to offer early on, the better profit we can make. Items that are appealing to the eye and labeled make a quick sale. Label and wrap item so that it can be viewed. If you use a package/box item, cut out ingredients from box and attach. Include your name/phone number/list ingredients on a card/paper or label with the item. No baked goods with cream or cream cheese. No pumpkin pie. Any questions or if you'd like to share your time at the booth during the Bazaar, we could use your help. Please call Alma or Pat Pelletier at (978) 744-7247 or (978) 314-7344 with your availability. Thanks!
