The Boy Scouts of St. Anne, Salem (Troop 83) are having their annual Scout Sunday Mass celebration on Sunday, February 5th at the 11 am Mass.

The Boy Scouts will be selling Christmas wreaths again this year beginning the weekend of November 26th and continuing through the weekend of December 10th. We have had to raise our prices slightly after several years of no price increase.  Wreaths are now $20, kissing balls $30, and swags remain at $12.

Pack 83 Cub Scouts will hold their annual Pinewood Derby on Saturday, April 2nd from 11 am - 3 pm in the School Hall.

On Sunday, July 4th, Boy Scouts from Salem's Troop 83 and Troop 24 participated in the annual celebration at Derby Wharf in Salem. The Scouts helped open the ceremony by processing in with Mayor Kim Driscoll, members of the Salem's Veterans Color Guard Unit and Salem Girl Scouts. The Scouting program works to build character, good citizenship, and personal fitness in young men.

Nick Danjou and Ben Dibble, members of St. Anne's Boy Scout Troop 83, recently attained the rank of Eagle Scout, the highest rank in Boy Scouts. Many family members, friends, and Troop 83 members past and present attended Sunday Mass where the new Eagle Scouts were introduced and recognized for their achievements.
