The annual Scrabble Tournament will take place on Saturday, February 18th from 10 am - 2 pm at St. John the Baptist Parish in Peabody.
This annual tournament is open to anyone who wishes to play. All you need to do is be able to spell. We provide the games, prizes and a light lunch for a $10 donation. Get your friends and family to sponsor you. There are two games beginning at 10 am, lunch at noon and the playoff game for the four highest scoring players, shortly after 1 pm.
The St. Vincent de Paul committee has been hosting this tournament successfully for several years and hopes that this year will see many regular competitors and many new players.
We invite all ages to come and play, have fun and at the same time support the work for the volunteers who aid in the work of the St. Vincent de Paul Society and the many people who come for a helping hand.
Registration begins at 9:30 am in the Lower Church Hall.
