Ste. Anne Music Ministry Adult Choir will be having its first rehearsal for the upcoming 2010/2011 season on Wednesday, September 8th.
We are looking for eager, new choir members, all voices (soprano, alto, tenor and bass) to give themselves over to praising the Lord in a very special way (and praying twice, by doing that!!!) And, yes, like anything worthwhile, it requires some sacrifice of time (rather little, when you think of it): rehearsal every Wednesday at 7pm in the church and singing two Sundays per month at the 11 am Mass.
We also need bellringers, which requires just your ability to count and keep rhythm (anything beyond that, like being able to read music, will be a huge plus, not only for bellringing, but for those who are interested in the "Choral Choir" as well). Bell rehearsal will start on Tuesday, September 7th at 7 pm in the church.
If you are uncertain as to your ability and doubt your "innate" talent, let Joe Stella help you decide your level of competency. You'd be surprised to find out how inexperience and doubt can be quickly overcome and in time you will become another happy member of our "Choir Family" (it's easy, just come to me and find out). Please consider very seriously this call for help. You will be serving the Ste. Anne family in a way that will enrich our lives. You will be giving back to the Good Lord and thanking Him in a very meaningful way for all that He might have done for you or by just showing the Good Lord that you are willing to sacrifice some of yourself by serving others as a way of telling Him you need Him and want Him to stay in your life.
