We know that everyone is eager to see the work begin on the roof. Dennis and Patty Levasseur spoke with the contractor and the issue has been the hot weather.
First, it affects the work and how much can be completed if they strip the roof. Second, it affects the roof shingles by making them very soft because they can be easily damaged when handled and walked on. O'Keefe Bros. stated that they will start when the weather will be in the mid 80s or with lower humidity for at least a couple of days.
