There's an exciting upcoming event for your 7th/8th grader. On the weekends of February 26-28 and March 5-7, C.A.M.P.S., a highly respected youth ministry that has served the Boston Archdiocese for 25 years, is once again offering a weekend retreat for junior highers - SNOWCAMPS 2010!
SNOWCAMPS is a youth ministry designed solely with the junior high student in mind. C.A.M.P.S. brings to this retreat a 27 year history of providing creative, effective, spiritual growth events for youth.
SNOWCAMPS is celebrating its 20th year and due to the continuous overwhelming response, two weekends are offered. Last year, over 400 people attended SNOWCAMPS. The SNOWCAMPS staff are youth ministers, adults and high school youth selected from many parishes who will communicate real life Christian faith to kids, and they do it with an encouraging spirit and honest enthusiasm. The SNOWCAMPS experience is something to enjoy and yet one that moves beyond the fun and games to challenge and encourage 7th/8th graders in their Christian faith. The highly concentrated experience is jam-packed with games, discussions, talks, music and lots of new and different fun activities. Through it all, the campers will see, hear, and sense that Christ loves them and wants them to know the joy of living life to the fullest.
SNOWCAMPS begins Friday at 7pm and concludes on Sunday at 4pm each weekend. The cost of the weekend including all meals and activities is $152. Round trip bus transportation is available for an additional $44.
